FIA is short of Federal Investigation Agency which is security providing institution to Pakistan. Headquarter of this institution is based in Islamabad, Pakistan but they have many offices in all the big cities of Pakistan. They are counter intelligence and border control agencies that look after all the actions of terrorisms against Pakistan.

 This department takes action against Economic Crime, Anti-Human Smuggling and Trafficking, Anti-Corruption, Counter-Terrorism, Gas, Oil, and Electricity Anti-Theft Unit, FIA Academy, Interpol, Immigration, Intellectual Property Rights and many other crimes. Classified in the Constitution of 1974 of Pakistan, it works under the ministry of Interior Pakistan and comes among one of the best and well-organized sectors of Pakistan. They also work on international cases with close coordination and cooperation of Interpol as they have nearly 39 international offices worldwid
